You have served your county well. Take you wife and pets and gather in the sunshine of Crawford, Texas. Jog on trails free of all the political trappings you have endured for the past 8 years. Enjoy your parents, enjoy your daughters, enjoy your friends in Crawford.
Go to sleep tonight knowing the weight of the county you have served is no longer on your shoulders. Wake up in the morning feeling a new and invigorated you. Breath in clean air, smile at your wife, greet your friends with the air of confidence of a man who, has been there, done that, and owns the T-shirt!

I'm reminded of a story I heard about when George Bush (the elder) left office...he asked incoming Pres Clinton what he was gonna do tomorrow (inaguration day), Well, the incoming pres had a list of meetings and committees and such...then Pres Bush laughed and said "enjoy yourself, I'm going fishing!"
